ArcanaPath

Accessibility Statement

We want ArcanaPath to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology.

Our target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and treat accessibility as an ongoing part of development rather than a one-time audit.

What we do today

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper headings, lists, and landmarks.
  • Full keyboard operability for navigation and the interactive reading tool, with visible focus states.
  • Text alternatives and ARIA labels for imagery and controls.
  • Color contrast chosen to meet AA ratios on text and controls.
  • A responsive layout that supports zoom up to 200% and mobile screen readers.

Known limitations

  • The free reading tool requires JavaScript; the educational content of the site works without it.
  • Card artwork is currently stylized placeholder art with text labels; richer image descriptions will ship together with final artwork.
